Power Up Your Sidekick

Give your sidekick tools. Connect it to your email, calendar, and files (Gmail, Google Workspace, or an Outlook work account) and to Notion, so it does the work instead of just telling you what to do.

Train Your Sidekick

Joshua Haggerty is a Fredericksburg business owner who uses AI the way he'll teach you to: in real businesses, on real problems. He runs three Hill Country companies: WSI-HaggertyGroup, an AI and digital marketing firm; J4 Trailer Sales; and J4 Smart Market, an AI-powered micro-market serving Gillespie County. Before coming home to small business, he spent years building cloud systems and CRM platforms for Citi, USAA, and MITRE, earning multiple MITRE innovation awards and an Oracle Innovation Award. At J4 Trailer, he built his own team of AI agents to help run the business, so he knows what works and what's worth your time. His goal is simple: help local owners stop just using AI and start putting it to work.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to connect AI to my email?

You stay in control. Your sidekick writes drafts, and nothing goes out until you review it and hit send. You choose which tools to connect, and you can disconnect any of them at any time. We will also show you how to turn off the setting that lets your conversations be used to train AI models.

I've barely used AI. Will I be lost?

No. Session 1 starts at the very beginning. We cap the room at 25 and have guides walking the room the whole time, so you won't sit stuck.

Do I need to pay for Claude?

A free account works for Session 1. We recommend upgrading to Claude Pro ($20/month) before Session 2. The free plan has usage limits, and a 3-hour build session can hit them. Notion is free.

What do I need to bring?

A laptop (Mac or PC, not a tablet), your phone, and your charger. Bring a few real emails, an old proposal, and notes from a recent meeting. We will send you a simple checklist before Session 1.

What email works?

Gmail, Google Workspace, or an Outlook account through Microsoft 365. If your email is managed by an IT company or an office administrator, check with them before Session 2. Some business accounts need their approval before you can connect new apps. Our pre-workshop checklist walks you through it.

How do I get my Morning Brief?

By email, every morning. You can also open it in the Claude app on your phone and have Claude read it out loud to you.

What if I miss a session?

Each session builds on the last. If you miss one, we will send you the materials. Or you can book a one-on-one catch-up with Josh or CJ before the next session for $100.

Can I bring someone from my team?

Yes. Each person needs their own seat and laptop. A second seat from the same business is $50 off. Email us before you register, and we will send you the discount.

What's your refund policy?

There are no refunds. If you can't make it, you can transfer your seat to someone else.
